Fairhaven's Royal nursing home

Fairhaven is a beautiful town with a small town feel to it.
There are three nursing homes in the town, two of which are in older mansions.

The population of the town sits around 16,000 and is situated next to New Bedford. The town comes in with two exits on the highway of 195 and the roadways getting around to the nursing homes is fairly easy to navigate.

Once an old Mansion, this nursing home may seem cramped at first visit but upon spending a little time there you realize it is cozy. The staff are friendly and attentive, the Director of Nursing is on the ball, and the Administrator is a friendly compassionate man who takes pride in running the home and always makes himself available to anyone who wishes to see him.

  1. This is a for profit nursing home that is part of a larger corporation and as such has an extensive support system and solid management team.
  2. They offer a wide range services for those of long term and short term care. They also work with hospice patients as well as Alzheimer's patients.
  3. This is a 100 bed facility with private and non private rooms
I have been to this facility numerous times, the staff is awesome and the Administrators is extremely experienced and absolutely takes pride in the home he runs. I definitely recommend this place for anyone needed or has a loved one whom needs the in patient care and has been considering this place.
The facility is serviced by the town of Fairhaven for it's 911 and has (two (technically 1) private ambulance company for all other transport needs.

EMS avoids Nursing home patients

Nursing homes transports have always been a staple of private EMS providers in Massachusetts. Now with rate cuts the lack of working EMTs (has always been an issue) and the larger companies snatching up new resource intensive contracts, the nursing homes are left out as the undesirables now. Coronavirus vaccine in Fall River

 Monday 2/22/2021 begins the next phase for Massachusetts residents eligibility to receive the  Coronavirus vaccine. Up until this date we have been working from Governor Baker's Phase 1 vaccination rollout.  So, welcome to Phase 2.  The plan is, with the roll out, to getting the rest of the critical care workers coming face to face with the vaccine as well as those other higher at risks groups. Which places have which vaccines though? Who has the Moderna vaccine and who has the Pfizer vaccine. And more recently, who in Fall River is giving out the new one shot Johnson and Johnson coronavirus vaccine.
